Ok so this is what is listed in the rules for maps:
1 x 2048 Color Map
*1 x 2048 Reflection Map
*1 x 2048 Specular Map
*1 x 2048 Specular Color Map
*1 x 2048 Normal Map
*1 x 2048 Bump Map
*1 x 2048 Opacity(transparency) Map
*1 x 2048 Glow map
*1 x 2048 Glossiness map

So does that mean no displacement maps? or are these the absolute only available ones we can use?

A point was brought up in regards to my render...I have a fireball as an effect on my weapon that is textured within the 1 texture. However for my renders I am using a light to bring out the effect and light up the character. Can I use an extra light in all my renders?

Warbringerd: out of all the maps a person can use, displacement was the only one I know for sure you can not use.

discmage: you can use as many lights as you want. In all your renders. No rule against that.

Another thing, in regards to the beauty shot...could you have your character interacting with another? eg. beating the oily pulp out of a machine? Or does everything in this shot have to be more seperate from your actual character eg. more of a background thing?

So if I wanted to...if I was crazy enough..I could model a whole action scene with more characters and demons and environments etc? as long as my character was kind of a central piece of it I suppose.

Although I still think this one is FTW!

Another question here. Can we make the final images pretty? I mean can I use some uniform theme in all of the final images like some frames or whatever that binds all the images together? Like in the presentation shot you're not supposed to have any fancy background, but it'd be nice to do something to the image to make a uniform presentation with other pics too. I guess the same thing goes with the text image, something more than DW logo and some text would be nice. Of course we'll have to include all the logos and stuff in them.
