alright! it took a while but I finally decided on the concept I will go with, Its a demon lord name Lord Atem. These are pretty much the proportions i wanted to go with. Im going to give him wings, and the clothing will be pretty light. tell me what you think of it.

thanks for the kind words guys, I will try to improve the silhouette further more during the modelling/sculpting process so its spot on. Anyway I'm modelling the basemesh right now for blocking in the major forms later on in mudbox.

Cool work. Love the Sil, other than the thighs, they look a little too tree trunky, particularly where the meet the calf. The rest of him is looking cool though.

looking good, id like to see some beefier lower legs tho, the hooves are looking a little too weak to support his body

lookin at the concept again I'm thinking he would fit more as a death/darkness demon rather than fire/lava. any thoughts?

Stick with the darkness/death theme. Fire, though very cool, tends to be overdone I think, just due to it's natural tendency to look aggressive. Death is done a fair bit too, but I think it leaves the field open for more creative possibilities.

those were my exact thoughts, I was thinking of making smole holes/seams along his body as well as from the eyes and mouth where darkness and void glare will leak out of. thanks, anymore suggestions are more than welcome.

Yea, definately stick with the darkness theme. There are going to be so many fire themed entries with the demons alone, much less the norms, it will get way too overdone.
