Okay, so my 3 concepts so far are as follows:
I: Invoker - Controls Ice In the previous war, the leader of Kar'Jak was killed. Three years after the war, a ruthless ruler has shown up, at the same time a package showed up at Auralius' door. In the package, the cape, brooch, and amulet of the previous ruler was set inside it, with a small note attached saying "Wear it proudly, son." And now, for the past 2 years, he has been trying to reclaim what was taken from him, and now with the new war upon them, he feels its his duty to rush off and fight. II: Stalker - Glove of Teleportation No story behind this guy yet, but the main idea is that he has a glove that allows him to, if he has been or has seen or can see where he wants to go, is able to rip a hole in reality straight to that location. Variations on how i would do it is he draws diagrams and runes in the air, which unlock the hole in reality. III: Warlord - Blade of Eternity The Blade of Eternity was passed down through thousands of generations, 15 thousand to be exact. Originally forged as weapon to bring down the toughest demons, it is made of Obsidian that has magically been reforged over tens of years, each reforging imbuing it with a physical mana line of energy, making it ot the point of today that it is a conduit of mana. The main proprty from the blade, however, is the immense regeneration properties it gives the wielder. Able to make the wielder near immortal, the bloodline decided every thousand years it must be handed down to the next son. Xarkus has only had it in his possession for 5 years, and now he must follow his fathers footsteps into war.

They are all cool stories, but I think I like the Warlord one the most. Has a very lenghty background that could make for some interesting designs.

I like the invoker. Could even potentially have an interesting angle of him not being a "badass" type character (though that might be what you want to go for), rather he's got a touch of innocence to him as he's trying to find his way in this crazy way.
