I'm a fan!
![]() The proud pose is definitely best for the winning pose shot. I like the back from work one, but only if he's not a bad guy. I don't know why but somehow that pose feels more heroic to me.

Ok, IMO you need to work on your lighting, try to get a couple of different coloured lights in there. Also, it looks as if your specular isn't showing up too much. If you want that razorwire to look right, you're gonna need some bloom there.
Keep it up. Almost there. |

Fantastic. When I first saw the concept, I thought it was a little plain, but now I'm slapping myself for ever thinking something like that lol. Great job so far.

Nice work Fixor. It'll look awesome when you add in that specular map, not that it's not already substantially awesome (got top line for a reason i see)
If you're still looking for feedback on the poses, I agree with seb that the proud pose (2) is very cool, but if this guy were an action figure I had on my desk I would probably keep it in the action pose (1) I always like posing things in that off balance "this thing looks like it's charging" pose, and while you can't always do that with action figures, it seems a shame to me not to do it when working in 3D. Just make sure you're keeping in mind his substantial weight and where those blades are swinging next. Nice job man. |
