I believe that your scene needs more details, maybe more stuff like furnitures or something...

thank you for the lighting observation...but the lack of furniture creates the story of the image...it is a stark enviornment...which invokes a lonely feeling. its rather poetic...seeing tha barren enviorment with a rose bush struggling to grow... more furniture will distort the overall compisition as well as the story of the picture.
