Realflow: Mesh
I've got a problem where my meshes for liquid effects end up with rounded corners and very blob like.
If I change the polygon or radious size down it ends up with individual bits of water....if you follow me? Anybody got any tips or tricks? I cant seem to sign up for the realflow forums, it doesn't allow me. It may also be my scale  in realflow Ive had to set it at 0.01, as for what ever reason when I import the objects they're huge, even when I start off in 3ds max at it claims the objects height is only 400mm Last edited by ash_scotland88; 22-04-2009 at 06:00 PM.. |

Do you mean filter method?
Ive got that set to "Yes" and it still happens... Do i need to change values or anything? One other thing is when I put the meshes back into 3ds max I always need to scale them down as they're sticking outside the container. |

yes the filter method. mostly you can see the difference by just switching this on and rebuilding your mesh after that. play with the relaxion values if needed.
for the scaling issue i have same problems, which means i have to rescale the mesh objects too. if i need it very exactly e.g. liquid is interacting with more than 2 objects then i export sd-file from max. import this sd scene in rf and when bringing back the mesh to the max file the scaling and positioning is perfect. |
