Group Replacement (3ds max)

Hey...


Im trying to replace a lot of group (500+) with another group. Is there anyway of automating this process??

Maybe someone could help me with a quick script??

That thread only focuses on replacing instances of an object. I tried that method for a group, and it doesn't work.

Any other suggestions??

BTW I have already done the replacing by copy/paste method, but for another time a solution would be great.
