Pretty awsome Blackhawk work man , its been quite a while im planing to make one myself :P nehow i would appreciate if u can give a little advice on how u achieve roundness in the window section of cocpit nose, the one at bootom left corner near pilot foot, I simply love those sharp rectangel brackets that follow that window.
keep it up. A lil tip try to avoid triangles and octagons (post 65 and 67) esp when you apply turbo or mesh smooth on cylinderical areas, the way I c it u have few artifacts in place which should be real smooth, and as a modeler its a must to make quads so when you import textures in game engine things dont go bad ![]() |

Sure, it helps to use splines as a guide. Most of my modeling is polygon freehand style so it helps to have guide. And thanks for pointing out the triangles, topology flow is with quads is always challenging for me
![]() Beginning to detail some of the blocked in objects, next is making them subdividable. 24 hours in |

Thanks guys. Originally this was going to be smoothed but I might put more into the textures and save on polys and keep it under 1,000,000 polygons. As tanks don't have many curved surfaces.
And actually it's 33 hours now Personally i'm all about the bottom line and the final result. What quality of work are you used to producing? feel free to post a picture of your work so i have a better idea of were your expectations are coming from. 33 Hours in |
