NEED Help on 3Ds Max 2009 Boolean Tool

Hello Everybody,

Hope you're all doing well.
I just got a problem on 3D Max 2009 Boolean tool that is bothering me!
The problem is that when I do Boolean on an object that HAS been already Booleaned for two times, I mean I did Boolean on that object for two times, the third Boolean would not work properly, for example I made a project and for the doors I faced with this problem. I just took some snapshots from it for better understanding. Please help me out through this problem guys!

Here I got my Door that I made it from a box and added some polygon editing on it. After that, I draw four shapes with line and did Boolean two of them from the box (Door) and everything were cool!

Boolean for the first one and the second one (The ones at top) did a good job but for the others (The ones at bottom) sucks!

You can see the result is horrible after the boolean.

Personally I wouldn't use boolean.
You would get far better results just modelling the door.
Anyway, have you tried using ProBolean instead of the standard boolean?
It may work better but it will still give you a very messy object.

Hi Dear Freddy,

Thanks for the advices, I've tried to make it without Boolean and I was successful and achived a great job but some more hours spending on details or something... As for the ProBoolean, Yes! i tried it and the result was worst than Boolean!
Anyway, Thanks for the comment.

Don't do this is two or more stages. Attach all four small boxes together and use them as one operand in one operation.
Also try to have similar density in you base mesh and you operand. Give the boolean tool more geometry to work with.

Cheers

maybe you should correct the topology before you use it again.
Boolean isn't some magictool what lets you make complex models without retopologizing.
that's what i think.

My new Tutorial.

First things you can attach all the object together and make them one solid object, after this just boolean it. but this solution not work for any purpose.
so just give me an email to send you all the way you can do with boolean and Proboolead ...

Hello All,

Thank you so much for the comments, my problems have been solved by using operand and making two or more objects in one object, thanks to Dear H2O-3DT, Dear Creator and Mr. OmidT.
I have also sent an e-mail to Mr. Omid for further info.
