Hi all, im new to the forum, thought i'de start off by saying Hi and sharing an image of my current work in progress.



It's actually for a uni project, no better way to improve it than getting other people to point things out

Made me think of oblivion, the game that is :P

Is that armor female? looks like titty-holders on the front, but it looks very large and masculine otherwise, like something from an angry orcs wardrobe. Not that it's anything wrong with a orc with small titts ofcourse. Hell, that's the way I prefer them, but I'm just curious as to if this is the vision for the armor?

A general tip is to not use solid black as background color for test renderings, it masks out shaded areas and hides proportions and edges. use a mid-gray type color instead. That way all the highlights and shadows are seen more clearly and defined.

I think its a good start, me I am not a fan of the spikes I mean anytime you would go to remover your helmet you'd poke a eye out lol...but what can I say far better then anyting I could do

Hi, thanks for the comments, lostzac im sure you could easily match this, its not that you can't do it. It's all about spending time on it. But yeah most of us would want the shortest and fastest route to completion of anything lol.

Tjakalen, it is supposed to be a armour for female but also be very masculine. Think Xena warrior princess with the attitude of Gollum, and mix in abit of Megatron (transformers). Well that is how i planned this character lol.

lol naw i cant I am a programmer...I originally came here to get help on my project and been lurking around ever since....It is very well done and I would not mind having it in my game lol
