2D illustrations and concept work
Hi, I decided to start a thread here so I can post my 2D work and hopefully receive some useful comments on it.
Recently I registered here because I'm currently doing a 2d/3d-battle with someone (see http://forums.3dtotal.com/showthread.php?t=67879). To begin with, here's a creature concept I did overnight. I haven't planned on working it out any further, but if anyone has a suggestion on what to do with it or how to improve it, spill it ![]() ![]()

nice one, i like the idea. though it needs a bit more work . you could add more detail to it. something like texture. if its a pile of flesh , so it needs to be defined what kind of flesh is it: is it guts - than you could add sone wrinkles to it or other definitions of gutts; is it muscles - so you could add some fibers to it. no flesh pile goes without blood, so a bit of blood is neaded. no offence but this monster looks a bit like a big pile of poop

However someone else told me I should leave it 'rough' to maintain the 'quick concept' look.I thought of the creature as brainy matter, but the idea of guts sounds appealing too.
