Sharp highlights (3ds max 2009 + vray 1.50.SP2)

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to create plastic opaque bottle with these settings:

If I choose black as refraction color (make no refraction) I get non-opaque bootle with very smooth highlights. Then when I make my bottle opaque (refraction color is almost white), I get very strong sharp reflections:

How can I smooth them? Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you for reading.

play with the reflection glossiness. i get very smooth highlights using 0.6 glossiness like in your screenshot.

Hey, keenox! Thank you, but, unfortunately, it didn't work. As you can see on vray material settings screenshot the reflection glossiness is 0,6 — that makes highlights very smooth without refraction...

Any other thoughts?

UPDATE

Okay, so the problem was with the bottle's geometry: after applying loft modificator, some poligons were created inside the bottle.

So I re-created the bottle from cylinder and it rendered just fine!
