My 2nd SMC. Still a lot to learn. Rendering Glass is so painful. Anyways not the best but that's all I can do within the time limit.

turns out pretty cool that this competition is happening now. a friend of mine just finished putting together an entire campaign ad for a new club called CherryTini. (this place does not exist... yet). he has gone and done everything including menu, business cards, billboards, etc. so i decided it would be kind of cool to do a 3d version of a CherryTini.

here is my result.

also i did not mention:

software used: 3ds max 2009, mental ray.

Here is an entry for this contest....am learning how to render with modo, so thought this would be a good exercise to practice rendering glass caustics etc....had a good time with it

Here is my final entry. I was in New Orleans for SIGGRAPH and I had this drink on Friday night down on Bourbon street. Needless to say this tankard has become my favorite drinking vestibule. Though if this entry doesn't qualify(since technically it isn't glass) someone just let me know and my feelings won't be hurt.
