Advice needed!!!
HI
Is there anyone out there that can help me. I am working towards getting a job as a character animator and was just wondering if anyone can help. what kind of work should go into a showreel and a portfolio for this area as I am not sure what would be best. Any help would be great thanks nbrooks |

to put it simply, the folio you send around should contain the work you are most proud of and feel was most succesfully finished. it doesnt just have to be about animation, even if thats the kind of job you want. show them you can do other stuff. keep the emphasis on what you want tho.

Don't put things that were made 5 years ago or unfinished WIPs. Put your most recent and highest quality work in your portfolio as people want to know your current skill and what you are capable of.
