![]() I don't know what is wrong with it really. Before, it froze for no apparent reason at all but after I got it back from the repair studio it did not start at all :P It just froze at the startup. Today my friend and I installed windows 7 on it (had windows XP before) and amazingly it works perfectly now :/ If I get any more problems with it I'll let you know though ![]() |

well this week was certainly the weekend to remember - it was the first time that there were three of us in the same room, since the baby got home on friday... well except cuddling, sleeping on dad's chest, crying whenever we changed the dipper the night was certainly an eventful one... i usually am not the type to go to bed early and get up late - i go late and get up early, but i never wake up in the middle of the night - you can fire a grenade right next to me and i would sleep all the way to heaven...
hehe all that changed in one day, i almost didn't sleep, got up 5 times to burp him went to bed after completing the mission, but it's all good, at least he's making up for mom and dad's lack of sleep ![]() |

I had the weirdest weekend.
First I had planned to work on a website someone wanted me to make for her. I had the whole weekend planned for it. Than with that thought, everything changed. This weekend we where supposed to look after a 12 year old girl with mental issues (seriously), which was no problem because this was planned for a few weeks already. My wife and me agreed she would take care of the girl this weekend so I could work on the website. Off course things went wrong. My wifes computer had some issues playing games at a normal speed. No wait.. My wifes computer had a lot of speed problems in general (which is ok since she has an old computer). So I decided to buy some extra memory for her pc. And since we had to go to the town center anyway, I could do more things at once. Because of how things went we spent more time in the town center than I had planned, so by the time we were back at home several hours had passed. No problem. I still had some time to work on the website. But first I installed the new bought memory in my wifes computer, and it worked without problems. Yet, I had decided to switch her processor with the one from the server, since that one is faster and the server didn't need it to be that fast. So...switching CPU's. Again, for my wifes PC everything went fine (except the CPU temperature is much too high, so I have to buy some cooling paste next week). But.... my server broke. Switching on the server did not gave me any image. In fact, it didn't gave me any "everything-is-ok" beeps either. It just powered up, fans go and spin round round, and thats is. And so, the rest of the day and a part of the night I was fighting my server with no luck at all (which is really bothering me since I have files on that server I need). Fine, after I got irritated a bunch I went to bed, 04:00 am. Four hours sleep left, and no work done on the website. Sunday morning: 08:00 am. My alarm woke me up not so nicely, and while I was still half sleeping I had to wake up the little girl and prepare her to go to church. Now since she isn't the most fast girl at all, this took some time but somehow we managed to be in church a half hour early. Well the whole church thing went fine (I even stayed awake the whole time), and back home we ate something and I went back upstairs to go fight my server again. Again, off course, with no luck at all. I couldn't fight long however, since we had to go to my nieces birthday. Well, and there we spent rest of our Sunday, until 6 pm. Then we brought the girl back home, stayed a while to talk to the parents, and now I'm sitting here. Still stuck with a not working server, no food yet (although I'm not that hungry yet) and still haven't done anything for the website. Next time I plan something for the weekend, I lock myself in a room for 48 hours. |

Yah I was thinking bout the toilet, since its the only room in or house that can be locked. However I think I'll end up with 48 hours of nothing to eat and a fight with my wife because she cant go to the toilet.

quiet time these days is hard to find
this week i wanted to do so much work, SMC, learning max etc, but things like getting two closets that i made installed on the wall, rearranging the room to fit those, making a place where i could work, actually making one of out two tables plus cleaning up & sorting through my files the entire what was left of the weekend. all in all, everything looks cool, but i didn't do any work at all. that being said i think i should turn in since it's half past one and tomorrow is closing in... |

I'm experimenting with a new slow cooker... Seems odd setting dinner going first thing in the morning, but hopefully the results will be worth the wait!
Sucks that you have to work today mate. Hope things are fairly quiet for you though

it's all good, slow day, experimenting with some stuff, thinking of a combination - missus, sun (even if it's cold outside) + baby = smiley faces
btw there is some persistent spammer on the forum!!! |
