Martin_X -The Slayer -Zonra
Hi. Great update on the design! I'll try to make a female slayer(first time female character). She may be an alien, not sure yet. My drawing skills suck so hopefully 3d version will be better quality as well as more "slayerish" type.

Can I say **** here?

Hey man looking good! I'm not a 2d artist at all so I know this step probably sucks, lol. But I think it's looking a bit plain as of right now. Kinda looks like Lara Croft without all her gear. Maybe give her a utility belt or something. Give her something to carry all her bows for her crossbow, you know...all that good stuff.
And good luck man!

Neat idea. Maybe some tight pants instead of the shorts? Hard to imagine an alien wearing a pair of khakis.

I agree with Chris, you could probably pinch that nose in some to get more of a feminine look out of it. Her hips are looking really narrow at the moment, I think you could widen them relative to her shoulders. Otherwise the sculpt is looking pretty good so far.

Wow, very nice. The boots look great. I can definitely start seeing a lot of her personality coming through now.

After a big break here's some progress. Made lowpoly(6922 tris),baked normals and AO. Last versions of Xnormal bakes these weird lines on AO. Does anyone know how to get rid of them>?
UPDATE:2nd picture without AO. Last edited by Martin_x; 22-11-2009 at 08:05 PM.. |
