Well here is my final silhouette idea i really love the size of this guy i think it fits in well with his name. I want him to be a big stocky type character im thinking of making him a medieval style but that is still not set in stone. The axe is not going to be his only weapon i also want to give him some close quater weapons like twin mace's or a twin bladed sword that can split into two seperate swords like clouds sword from final fantasy. Armor im still not sure if i want him to be fully armored or just part or him being a dragon slayer i think its all about mobility.
Well i hope you like it so far not much but im still working on his back story to give me ideas. |

without reading anything - i was looking @ the sillouette and thought- dang that's a big teddy bear
. i read the words above " meaning bear"..... this can only become good.I think Golden Melons as weapons would also be fitting for that type of slayer. |

Bah i dont know :P

I say go with every finger - you don't need much detail in the mesh with normal maps and it'll let you pose him grasping stuff in a much more natural way.
I am a bit of a fascist in this respect though so it could be more than you really need art wise.. I'd like to see him a bit more stumpy and barrel like than the mesh currently is - your sillhouette was full of character and to me its getting lost as you go along. I vote you lose some of the definition in the legs, arms and trunk of his body so they're more tubelike, shorten his legs off a touch, possibly lengthen his arms and generally beef him up all over. Its probably just me again but I think going too photoreal with proportions robs our little creations of character - we've got artistic license and we should damn well use it ![]() |
