SMC M#01 - czacen - Legendary Weapon - Zabimaru
Hope this qualifies as a legendary weapon. Belongs to a soul reaper from the bleach anime. Its a cross between sword and whip. Just reserving this space atm. Will probably only start this after i get home from work.

Been having some problems with attaching files to posts. So far I was able to attach the beauty render but not the clay or wire frame. This took 60mins to model and another 53 to detail and tweak. I have recorded a video of the first 1 Hour modeling part. If anyone is interested I could upload it. Is there a way to upload it to the forums? (120mb file) :P
@ ragupasta : I initially wanted to do the Bankai mode, but I was concerned about making all that hair look good enough in 3D within just 2 Hrs. So I chickened out and did the Shikai .Last edited by czacen; 05-11-2009 at 02:46 AM.. |

Hi everyone. I too decided to get onto the multiple entry bandwagon. However I decided to choose the same sword, just another version of it. This time the Modeling took 90mins. Corrections and Refining took another 20mins. I have recorded the building of this model right from scratch and I will find a place to upload the video file. The pic below is just a viewport screen grab. I will render and post the required beauty, clay and wireframe images in the morning

I love the first one. Great modeling and very nice render. The second one looks great too. Can't wait to see the textured version.
I also want to look at your videos, they should be cool to watch.

This 3rd is awesome (not that i don't like the first 2
), but i think it's important for a model to be unique and stand out of the crowd. |

The sword look very sexy, how about painting a nice texture in the blade? like a sort of tribal drawing... or a futuristic imprint
