SMC M#01 - rocneasta - Legendary Weapon - HIV2 Airborne
Well again i deviated from legendary in a form that can be felt and or yielded. However the hero/evil mastermind behind of this legendary weapon should not be big & strong & buff - but a skinny little bugger who twisted and turned until he developer a mutation of the original HIV virus.
HIV2 Airborne - not the most inventive title, but the one spreading fear with it's most deadliest features implemented on top of highly complex structure that made the former virus - it's airborne and the incubation period has been reduced to 1.33 minute. After that period the virus releases the sibling virus killing the recipient within the next 20 minutes. The horror of the last 20 minutes was never told... Modeling part was easy, but making a high poly model and adding hair was not the best idea since i crashed max many times before i could actually manipulate the object to the extent of reaching my goal. In the end, light pass on the materials was done separately as the hair pass. So those 20 minutes of rendering time is the time spend in rendering the final 2 images alone - not nights trying to achieve the aforesaid . Post was done in Photoshop - a bit of color correction due to fog, and some tones of black for DOF...Last edited by rocneasta; 24-11-2009 at 01:55 PM.. |

"Hero" behind this weapon? Woooooooooow you really should read something about "bilogical warfare". Or perheps try dictionary and find term "hero" in there. With this post you touched the most horrible weapon class mankind has ever invented or used. I would be also reluctant to call this a weapon, rather exterminator. You see, problem of spreading a virus is, that you cant control it, and it kills indiscriminately. Calling it a weapon is only excuse for some people to use it on other people. This is stuff for horror. Another thing I would have to the topic: HIV means "Human immunodeficiency virus". Important word is immuno-deficiency. This means the virus shuts down your immunity system allowing everything threatening the system to kill you. Hence its not the virust itself that kills. It only disarms you. Its everything else that kills you, should it be flu, or your own bacteria you carry in your organism. It could be anything. Your system simply stops fighting back. There is no way this virus could kill so fast on its own, unless it has been laced with something else to do the job very very fast. But that is totally different story. Sorry, this is not legendary weapon in my books. Probably because of the stuff I read about it. Its the same category as Zyklon B. (my opinion only, so please take it as such.) |

and that kills you - HIV2 just shuts down your immune system as the previous version did. Airborne is just so you don't have to have a mass orgy on the battle field in order for this weapon of mass destruction to work ![]() p.s. your comments are always constructive JAPO, it's hard to take offense at them. just type away - c&c especially constructive one is always a good thing in my book |

hmm...
This is not real world weapons, this is fantasy world weapons, so rocneasta hero can program the virus to strike only specify DNA (unique in every person) so this biological weapon is not an mass destruction weapon but a very precise biological weapon that kill only the person that the hero want. About the mass orgy on the battle field if the virus is not airborne I imagine some sad Orc's crying cause they been rape by U'r herovery nice beauty render rocneasta Last edited by hammering3D; 25-11-2009 at 01:42 PM.. |
