Tank > yeah, amazing film. He still is the main man. I was actually about to leave my couch or the house entirely when I heard him say "get off my lawn"!
Have you guys seen Good Morning England? Bad-@ss music, great actors. They could have shown more about the difficulty of pirate radios but I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the film.

Saw War Inc. this weekend, and actually was pleasantly surprised by it.
Reminded me a bit of the sillyness in Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Which is though not for everyone, one of the funniest movies of all time ![]() |

Just watched Tim Burton's "Sweeney Todd", and even though I'm not into musicals at all, he pulled out a fantastic film. Thumbs Up!

Yeah Sweeney Todd is cool. But I like most Burton \ Depp combinations. Can't wait for Alice in Wonderland.
Yesterday we have seen The Lightning Thief. I found it was mediocre. The special effects where cool and so, but the story itself was cliche and didn't make any sense. Also I think that the acting could have been better at some points. |

This has been a very no-busy day so I've been watching some flicks.
The Usual Suspects > Been wanting to see this movie for years. Finally. "Who is Keyser Soze?" The Number 23 > Pretty cool thriller.

Sweeney Todd is great indeed. Loved the atmosphere and even though I am not a big big fan of musical either, I loved it.
Usual Suspects is a good one too. Would lke to watch it again actually. I finally pulled my fingers out this week end and watched Once Upon A Time In America, yeah, the long @$$ version (229min). Good. I liked it. Everybody's going about how great De Niro is in that flick but Woods is equally good! Casting was excellent IMO, young and old characters do bear a resemblance (except for young Noodles actually) and make the whole thing believable.

Last week or so, whenever I have time, I'm watching all the Red Dwarf episodes. The original UK version ofc. I love the series and the humor.

Checked out Dark Floors (the Lordi film) yesterday... found it surprisingly enjoyable. And did not have the whole Band-makes-a-film vibe about it.
Rewatched Event Horizon also over the weekend. Sci-FI horror in space. Woot!! Also, enjoyed watching Sunshine. |

Ok... finally managed to watch Transformers- Revenge of the Fallen....
Pretty much, 3 hours of senseless plot-holed horse crap and screwed up dynamics all wrapped in what I must admit as flawless CG and Megan Fox cleavage. About half way through me and the missus were yawning and complaining about how long it was. The first Transformers movie was, for the style, a very entertaining movie, but this one is just a pyramid sized mound of manure. Sorry about that Michael Bay...

Yeh, despite how good the CG was and all those crazy actions scenes,I wanted Transofrmers 2 to be a much much shorter movie.
Has anyone watched Shutter Island yet? A really good film. It's pretty long, though and sometimes just plain boring, but the the stuff at the end makes it all worth it.

I have seen Alice in Wonderland. I liked it a lot, but that might be because I'm a big fan of the Tim Burton and Johnny Depp combo.

I like Alince in Wonderland also.
I was playing Farmville at facebook when watching Green Zone at cinema. I'm not sure whether the movie is telling a true story or fiction. Japanese movie Kaiji: The Ultimate Gambler, another best psychological thriller movie after Death Note. |
