Off to see Prometheous 3D in a bit, I'll let you know my verdict afterwards. To be honest it will be only the 2nd 3D film I've seen.

Oh I really liked that film, shame I missed it was on the mac most of the night playing minecraft & rendering, any other TV in our house had the floatilla for the jubilee on.

Saw Prometheus today, bit confused and disappointed. I really like the visuals, cinematography and deeper meanings in the film but I was just disappointed with the plot and climax... It just didn't feel like the Ridly Scott movies we've known and loved.
What does everyone else think?? |

Saw Prometheus today gotta agree with astroAJ I found it slow at the beginning and it just lacked something for me, it was photographed beautifully, the Prometheus ship itself is a gorgeous almost bug like organic design and the performances by all were pretty cool, but for me at least lacked that x factor that the original films had.

yeah bit of a disappointment and leaves you scrathing ya head. it just didnt have that alien/wayland feel i was expecting
 and the aliens where s*** come on!! they look like rez evil charactersand the ship design is awesome (ben procter) but it crashes at the end! screwing so no Prometheus 2 Last edited by needse; 12-06-2012 at 11:22 AM.. |

Yeah Safe House was a good one, nice amount of action a mind fook from Denzel
Well managed to see Men In Black III aswell now, it's pretty good........sadly very predicatable in places but has a nice twist to the plot, no way near as good as the first film but miles better than the second. Gotta admit although i'm not a musical fan Rock Of Ages does look cool, i've heard the OST and Tom Cruise can sing pretty well especially when he covers GNR's Paradise City, as I say not one for musicals..... although having said that I have seen Shrek The Musical & We Will Rock You and both loved them lol

Just finished with Iron Sky - impressive CG on the last battleship, compositing and post production could be better but funny to watch
