Saw Snow White and the Huntsman last night (dragged along by the missus)... Too long, slow paced, not dark enough and not twisted enough for my tastes but the missus thought is was quite good. Some of the CG was very good though

saw Gone last night. Was ok/good. You keep expecting things to happen but they do and don't, so not all predictable

Just got back after seeing The Dark Knight Rises..... this film is epic, it's brutal, well paced, thoughtful, humourous & action packed, I absolutely loved it. It's a superb ending to the trilogy with possibilities for future adventures if another director wished to take it further as I believe this was Christopher Nolan's last film in the franchise.

I saw Shame a couple days ago, great acting and a good movie.
I also saw Prince of Persia The sands of time, for a second time. It still wasnt great, but it's an okey movie if you have som time to kill. Will try and see Dark Knight Rises next weekend, and maybe i go to The amazing spiderman tomorrow.

Rewatched Clerks this weekend.
Saw REC (the original). It's good, recommend it ![]() And, also, rewatched Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. I still don't feel it does Gilliam justice, but, I don't have the distaste for it anymore. Yeah, slow weekend.. oh, and Edda0199 is a bot..

Saw Dark Knight Rising and whilst I loved the film I was initially put off by Tom Hardy's choice for doing Bane's voice... I was slightly worried that some of the tech might push the story too far away from the semi-reality-based first two movies but it actually worked pretty well
Also watched the recent Muppet movie which had some good moments but was otherwise forgetable

Just got back from Dark Knight Rising, it was the first movie I have ever went to that left the audience completely silent, we all were so engulfed in the movie that no-one even said a word and when it ended everyone in the theater just stood up and started clapping.
Yes, it was THAT good! |

Hoping to see Ted this weekend, looks very funny plus Mila Kunis is always a visual treat even if her voice is always gonna sound like Meg
