Woo! Another Lightwave user haha.
First up, I gotta say, that's looking pretty sweet man. You said that you are only using a displacement map, no normals? Can I ask, how did you go about applying the displacement map? was it just through the standard properties panel? Also do you have a screen shot of the nodes panel that we could have a look at? I wrote another tutorial some time ago which has a video of me setting up the displacement nodes.. you can see it here http://www.ten24.info/oldman/tutorial.htm Almost finished the seemingly never ending task of editing the video tutorial for this guy.. done 95% of it now just got to finish the last chapeter on post processing.. then record the voice over.. All being well it should be finished by the middle of next week.. ![]() |
