Quick question guys,
Can I make stuff off of references, like copies of references? For example, a war-hammer chariot? I don't know the deal with the new challenges. Thanks |

i have another question. Rules say - must be suitable for beeing drawn by horses. My current concept doesnt include horses BUT it will be a chariot, and it will be pulled by something else. It is steared with reins and a kind of bar connects it to the pulling force. Is that ok?

another thing that might be clarified for not only speed modeling challenge is the 3D printing - from how to prepare models - there are tuts and step by step instructions, to what to send, since obviously not all models can be made, and it would be nice to have a printout of the winning model; but if the case is that the model can't be printed what to send etc...
the rule states upload it before judging - just saying a bit of technical and other clarification can help participants in spending less time with all that's involved |

tnx, i think a few sleepless nights should cover those minimal 24 hours a day brings. would love to live in an universe where a day lasted for 48 hours - so much time to work on things you love and to love the ones you love. 24 hours just doesn't cut it anymore...

Think we could all do with more hours in a day lol.
Here's a question though - are we allowed to use techniques like surface displacement when we're modelling? I had this idea for a part of my chariot and it'd just be much easier to do it this way, but wanted to make sure it wasn't breaking any rules lol |

@TylinaVespart: Welcome to the challenge. Almost everyone here's goal is to learn and have fun. As for displacement maps, they count in the modeling time.
