I posted this in your thread, but just in case others are unsure:
The limit is 10,000 triangles As an aside though, 10,000 triangles isn't necessarily 5,000 polys as a polygon is 3 or more straight sides. 10,000 triangles = 5,000 quads would be more accurate as 10,000 triangles also is the same as 10,000 three-sided polygons ![]()

Can I ask sometheing else please. When I come round to unwrapping the character do I group everything together so its all on the same UV space?
