my first low poly

this is my first low poly character, not finished, if anyone can helpme, i need some tutorials about texturing and the hair, cant do it

the body 1200 polys
head 1000 polys

First, not a bad job for your first, but there is always room for improvment. For instance, check out the fore arm, just slim them down. If you are trying to make the character like Popeye you are doing a good job (no offense). Also, the croch is too low to the grown. Raise that up and you will have a nice looking charcter. Post more shots after you update.

i notice that the arm wherent too good, and you are right it damn popeye , i have done this, before i read your reply, its not the real texture, but can you help me in that are, i know the proces in max, i mean uvw map, unwrap, i just cant get those exelent, i guess my photoshop skill sucks
