Hi everybody

This challenge is awesome!Great theme and coincidentaly related with ive been doing with my artwork lately. I dont know if it was caused bythe COP 2009 fiasco...hehehehe.But heres a few sketches for the scene ill be painting,i would like to know wich looks cooler. Please,share your thoughts with me

very nice progress and work! I prefer the "day", the light is better, in the second character is cons days, in the third, the atmosphere is perceived as a conflict today...

Wow nice one!
I would said day or night, but night could be interesting because we're all playing with hot colors for this comp, we're all thinking about fire, blood, explosions and stuff like that, but some cold atmosphere could also fit for the "after-armaggedon". Maybe blue and nothingness like each others, no?
What do you think about it?

chris_solo , washka -Thanks a lot for the comments.Following your advices i changed a little the lightning combining the best of each mood and resulting on a dawn feeling but the light is coming from the giant vortex hole on the sky.
Adding dust and particles to the first layer too...posting more soon

I don't know why but something about your character's pose is bothering me, it's something with the legs.
It's not bothering me in your concept sketch, but it is after you applied paint, and shadows.
Would have made the background truck a little bit smaller.
I like the atmosphere and the way you detailed sky and buildings, impressive.
Keep up the good work, it's getting better and better!

wonderful work so far!
there is something right in washka saying , something with the legs...
maybe try drawing one foot on the ground so we can see it.
other than that the atmosphere looks great!
