OK, got a new one for you. Happened yesterday. Even though I was not personally pwned, I was a witness so I guess that qualifies.

Note: exclamation marks and capital letters are on purpose to better translate the state the guy was in.

My wife and I are waiting for a metro. A guy comes up, goes to a machine to buy tickets. After 2min, we hear him talking to a staff member:

- excuse me?! I cannot buy tickets! I put 40 cents in and want to pay the rest by card but it won't take it!! It does not work! There are two ways of paying a ticket but NONE WILL WORK!!
- OK sir. You need to pay either by cash or by credit card. You cannot use both in one transaction. So use your VISA card only.
- It's not a VISA!! It's a MASTERCARD!
- OK come with me we'll try together.

The angry guy goes by the machine, uses the touch screen to select desired ticket and then inserts the card in the slot.

Staff member goes:
- Sir? This slot is for Oyster cards. Credit cards go here. Try it.
- Oh... Erm, well, erm... sorry... Erm... Thanks. I, erm...

At that point, Mister Smart Pants was totally owned and wished he could just disappear in the credit card's slot.

The staff member's face was also priceless as he was walking off from the angry man. I could really see he was trying not to crack up laughing or yelling "PWNED!!!".

Made my day.

Yesterday (well, actually very early this morning), after drinking a bunch of alcohol and before going to bed, I decided to take a look outside. There was a fresh layer of snow just waiting there for me to jump right in. So i did....with my bare feet. My God, don't ever try to do this. It felt like my feet where cut of with thousands of tiny knifes.

i don't know how i owned my self but i lost a day. i'm mostly working during the night when i can get in the flow since the baby is fast asleep for around 4 hours then 3 then 2. Since i start working around 10PM i'm aware that it's the next day in 2 hours but i was convinced this friday that it was thursday.

it's foolish but i have to admit i don't know how i spent my thursday, since i firmly believed friday to be the day before...

and i can't blame it on the liquor since i never tasted it.... ough well
