ONe word

OWNAGE

Hehe..

But if you have a radeon 9700 "NOT PRO"

Convert it to a FireGL with only 3 files

You say.. ohh it is ust a fake.

No

I was testing quake 3 timedemo

Before

Radeon 9700|| 178Fps

FireGl|| 237Fps

And 3dsmax is running perfect

the only thing you should do. is

fast guid

1 download firegl drivers.
2. unistall radeon drivers
3. Use a program that force radeon to use firegl drivers
4. Install firegl drivers
5. restart windows
6. When you start windows a popup message is there
and say.. We can find 3d studio max on your computer. Allow firegl?
7. Yes

When you start 3dsmax you find this

I may be a bit ignorante, but what does FireGL improve in 3DMax: viewport rendering or rendering Is it much better than the ATI Radeon 9700

okey the viewport is 3x faster.. And i mean it.. I was testing to do over many sphere about 500 with 200 segments. With radeon9700 that was slow.. Now with firegl i can rotate and move the scene. with no problem.

all bolls has 200 segments

But ont thing.. You cant play 2d games on it.. like Roller Coaster 2 =(
