3ds max 2010 graphics problems.
Hey guys
Max 2010's been working fine for ages, then suddenly this has happened (check image). Basically, its like all shadows are now very bright, and most objects look almost 'glow in the dark'. Also, there is a lot of graphical 'garf' as I'm sure you can see (the grids being rendered in the wrong viewports) I've no idea what caused it or how to stop it. so far I've tried: Resetting the graphics settings/drivers installing the latest drivrs Re-installing max (though I'm not sure if EVERYTHING gets deleted, i'm going to do a manual bit by bit removal soon) but still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

I got that on an older version of Max. I think it was either the Gamma/LUT settings or alternatively my default startup file was corrupt
Oh, and you get bonus points for an unregistered version of Max and utorrent running in your systray... ![]()

Haha, the 'Unregistered version' was a bit of a give-away. As for uTorrent, other than its obvious uses, I actually use it as one of my proffered methods for downloading patches etc. Got a pretty nippy connection.
Do you remember how you fixed it? |

Gamma/LUT is in preferences. The startup file I think I overwrote with a good one
