Scarf is a fine idea - it'll be a nice WWI style touch. jnumber9 : its max 2009. Max has had viewport shadows since 2008, you just need to turn them on. |

voila!
scarf. moved her head down a bit too because (true to form) i made her neck way too long otherwise we've got shorts and other detaily bits. I need to think on the backpack and do some more drawings but I reckon the body can go off to zbrush as it is |

ah man, love the style poopipe, my favourite design so far! and screams your unique style. the poly distribution looks top notch and should be perfect for the sculpts. can't wait to see more. get working!

it doesn't explain why I overdo the length of the torso though.

I'd like to jump in, but I'm scratching my head for an idea that really grabs me yet.
Scarf looks good, so does the rest. I agree with L3X, time to get sculpting. Does she have a weapon or means of defense of any kind? Walking staff mayhaps? Being a wanderer and all.

thanks chaps
a stick's a good idea. I'll probably hang a shotgun and some sort of ornate revolver off her for emergencies and that. |

good shapes, forms. Like the way the weight of the model moves the eye from the top down.
will all straps be fabric based? or will a few like the ones on the boots have a metal background. |

ta
I've decided her face is too small but it's an easy enough fix and im generally pretty happy with the way she's shaping up so far ![]() straps will be leather for the most part but I think I know where you're heading and its certainly under consideration. The backpack is proving to be a bit of a pig design wise, Im torn between wanting it to look like the front of a 19th century pump organ or an art deco radio. |
