First Game model - w.ip. + level ;)
This is my first attempt at a game model, and or break into the industry, normally I am fixed on seeing how many polys I can cram heh j/k. But I am curious on the size etc.. right now I am sitting at 3000 polys for this character. Goal is to be a UT2k3 model.
I am starting to play with the textures on him, etc. but not sure if they are being pulled off. heh I am also attempting to get the hang of the new tablet. ![]() But critiques welcome, and thanks in advance.. - chap Here is the game model: Here is a screen shot of the level.. ![]() |

Hey!!
3000 polys seems quite alot for that model. where are you using all the polys? can you post a wire frame? also the renders look a little dark, i think that they need more lights, or somethng. Model looks good so far. the level loks pretty cool too. let me know when the level is finished so that i can get a copy of it. cheers!!
