needs some more modeling and then sculpting sculpting sculpting oh and it's becoming to look not really steampunk'ish.. :| i'll try adding some more steampunk details |

i like the zbush work ... u have started with base mash > sculpt > and back to base mash ,, or ur doing retopology after the sculpt ...p.s. wife frame picture is the base mash with finished topology or just like base mash to start with ? |

![]() I suggest to do more researching on face and head part. The proportions are realy cool, but the face need to be something more accurate for this body. In my opinion of course ![]() Keep going!

i usually model some reeaaally simple basemeshes, then sculpt the highpoly version of a character without any retopologies (i believe there is no need for that, unless the computer can't handle the polycount). here how the main base meshes looks before sculpting: ![]() after sculpting the highpoly version, I make a completely new low poly model in 3dsmax, make the uvs for it, and bake normal and AO textures in xnormal those earlier wires are the same as these, only after the sculpting Levus, thanks for the advise, agreed x] the head doesn't really fit the body for now, will work on that Last edited by armians; 11-01-2010 at 06:11 PM.. |

i think the highpoly's almost done
will add some hanging ropes and some other details, but there no need to do them in highpoly |
