Shaders
Hello
It seems like people use 'shader' to define many different things. Could anyone give me a good definition of what exactly it is, because i no longer do? |

Hey!!
my definition of a shader would be...... all the things that you add to a materi wait.... a shader is.... i believe it to be a collection of nodes that can be added to a material. but not neccesarily the material itself. thats my opi...onion. cheers!!

yeah there should be some good definitions. Often shader and material mean the same thing, that's ok IMO as long as noe doesn't use texture :/. Texture is really only bumpiness. Generally I use shader for the way the material reacts to light etc. e.g. Stahlberg's skin shader is a basic skin material around which he builds his shader.
