SMC M#03 - Cordero - All Terrain Armoured Vehicle
Hey guys!
New to SMC, its going to be my first time ![]() I'm thinking about a four legged spider like vehicle. Like the dragoon unit in starcraft, but the only similarity will be the four legs ![]() here is a picture from starcraft showing the dragoons in action: http://www.freewebs.com/wardevils_clan/starcraft.jpg i will draw a concept soon, but i must say that i'm a little bit scared how its going to turn out, because i've never draw a vehicle before good luck for you all! |

hey guys! first concept, without colors.. i will play with it after i managed to model this under 240 mins.
it can walk on any kind of surface, its deadly for long range, and close combat (thanks to the combined gun on the top, and the four flamethrowers on the bottom) its driven by human, who can sit in the globe in the middle. a darkened glass, so i wont modell the inside of it. maybe if i have some time left. it has two gas packs on the top of the globe, and under the gun on both side, which is the gas for the flamethrowers. maybe i'll add some more details on the model if i have time left. I hope u like it! |

hey guys!
i've started modeling, and this is what i've got after 80~ mins. I messed up the size, and the angle of the legs... i will fix that ![]() I still need to detail the leg further, and the turret. maybe i'll have time for the interior. i hope you like it, please leave a reply, and tell me what you think! |

Good work so far. My suggestion is, that since your design uses duplicated parts, you should squeeze as much detail into the leg unit. Also at the moment, the design seems to look planted to the floor and not very flexible. Perhaps the addition of feet pads will help lift it out of the background.

Thanks for the reply czacen!
You are right, the model doesn't seems too flexible, which is not good because it was designed to be all terrain so i will add the feet pads! |

No comments on the final image, which means its not good enough
So i'm gonna do another one, this time a motorbike. Maybe with two extendable arms, so it can move on 'spiked' surfaces too. But of course the main strength of the vehicle will be speed.updates soon. |
