Just to show that I'm not going to surrender this is the new picture. It's my yesterday's progress and now I'm deep in texturing. New updates will be soon.

nice, coming along good. Do you still have enough tris for the gun though??
Also, the shoulder area could use a little more work. The joint where the jacket meets the mechanical arm is a little too harsh. |

Stealing your polygons!

Looks like your model transitioned to low poly quite nicely. Looking forward to the textures.

2 armians Thank you
![]() 2 Tarik2d Thanks mate. Yes, here is the wire. It's only normal map, without AO. 2 Levus Thanks, the textures always most difficult part for me. 2 JGavin Gratz) For a pity no, I decide that I don't have much time to make the shotgun so I spent all free polys to mechanical hand. Of course, I can cut some polygons from character and make the gun from them but I don't have much time and free UV space. And I agree with you that shoulder looks a bit rough, it wasn't good design idea, maybe textures make it looks better. 2 Martin_x Thanks, wish you luck with your char ![]() 2 Warlock 279 Thank you, textures will be soon. |

Looks great. Very clean normal map! were you bake it? Did you bake normals to the valves on his shoulder? I think with occlusion map it will be awesome!

2 bibhuti, Cordero, JGavin, buzz001 Thank you guys. updates will be soon. Now I'm working under specular map for mechanical hand.
2 Fbios Thank you.If I understand question right I usually bake all maps in 3dmax of XSI because this programs provide great control under projection cage and normals direction. I use 3dmax for this model. 2 berendey Thanks mate. Hope I will but there are so much talented modelers and great models in this contest ![]() |
