Zbrush- Zadd and mask at the same time

Hi,

I'm trying to do a 'Layer' operation while sculpting on my model but when i rotate around it, and 'layer' again, I am not just continuing my layer, but adding more layer to the one I made before I rotated.

My question is: is there a way to do zadd and mask at the same time, so when i rotate around, my zadd just continues in a combined path to what I had been adding before?

sorry if that's confusing

It's a pain to do some zadd and then CNTRL+Click to paint a mask over what I just drew, and it will never be exactly the same

what I'm getting though is something like this:

I can't do an inflate and rotate around the arm and do another one connecting without it bulging in the middle of the two.
What I do to solve this is to carefully smooth out the seam..but that can't possibly be the most efficient way

if you use inflate in the deformation pallette rather than the brush it will be a smooth inflate with no seam
