By the way the guy with the robot is me Anyway happy to see you liked my work, even if I am still a junior in the domain of 3D (graduated from school last summer).By the way, your real clay sculpts totally rocks! (checked your website too) TerraBite: Nice start! anima 3D: Like the shape, however I would watch out for the face subdivisions, there are more edges in the horn than in the face. Anyway I restarted my Zsphere model today, which took about 30 min. I will bring that to an other app. to delete unnecessary edges in the arms, fingers and toes, and put some more in the face and on the torso since I want a big round belly like in my sketch. |

Remmers- Of course those footprints are real,my sculpt is just from my imagination
thanks!DE3MOHD- and you know for a fact that the snowman isnt a zergling??would be cool if it was, wouldnt it? ![]() im going to put some snow on him.. Athidi- nice concept, realy like his body features. i think people would just freeze in fear, by seeing his face. thats how nobody can describe its apparance.looking forward to your sculpt. TerraBite- I agree with you..just wanted try and make something unexpected.I tryed to give some reason behind it.hope its not to faroff. I like your concept, and the sculpt is looking great so far.looking forward to your updates. liquidbear- Nice fur you got going.smaler fur, can also be added with the rake brush i think. Stoneking-I like your idea and description. he looks like a realy tough guy ![]() Dack-I like his fingers, and how the fur is connected under the arm, dragonlike. anima3d-cool idea. I think what mightyReg means ist that your starting with a very dense basemesh, could be easyer to start with something like the 1.or 2.leveldivision of the addaptive skin. also its hard to get a around the fact that thiner zsphere branches get more polys, because zpheres always try to have square polys, I think the "old skinning" method gives more polys if you add more Zpheres to a branch. not 100%sure though. so i think the horns might work the way they are, maybe add some loops in the face if its needed. Inpw-not a very scary snowman but cool armor and good start.MightyReg- thanks. since there is no real reference(other than the footpattern) of the snowman.. i thought it would be cool to make something different than a monkeylike thing, im glad you like the bulcky back. what you can try in the fingers, is to make the starting sphere of a finger very smal, and not drag it out to much. even smaler than in the screenshot if you want four fingers. you can see I got a pinching area in the middle of the palm.so it could be tweaked some. ![]() |

Do you mean the new feature ZSketching ? If yes, i think it gets better topology, But i "think" this because of a few videos that i watched, I didn't have the drive yet to get the hag of it also ![]() But if you need a real well planned topology for games and animation for example, it feels to me that if you started with ZSpheres it will be needed to do the retopo, And ZBrush has a great retopo tool, i really like to do the retopo inside ZBrush, for me it works very nice, Cheers Fernando |

Hi Dack and Anima3D !
Thanks a lot for the kind comments, very much appreciated I'm really glad you liked it ![]() Dack, actually the good thing about this Fur is that is quite easy to do ![]() I've made it with some Alphas that i personally and previously made in photoshop, The only Alpha i didn't made myself is the one i used for his "shorts" If you and any other member are interrested in downloading all this Alphas just click on the link bellow, i've put them in a direct downloadable folder ![]() Link for downloading this Alphas: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=7...01da0f25e869f4 Cheers and thanks again Fernando |
