Bakuryu06 - Abominable Snow Creature
Here is my rendition of the Abominable Snow Man. Most people are using fur as means to keep their snowman warm, but this snow"man" has a different method
More details to come. |

However your Snow Apollo Reptile is comming along quite nicely. Theres a few Issues i noticed with the actual drawing itself that i will explain to you at work on Monday. I hope you plan on having a backdrop. Last edited by TNTxGRAVE; 07-02-2010 at 03:24 PM.. |

TNTxGRAVE: lol, im messin wif you fool. Yeah, I know there are a few things wrong which I'm trying to fix and have fixed. Got another hour or so more into it. Man I haven't painted in like 3 years! Its almost a relearning process and i'm loving it!
I'm having a little problem with the hand in the foreground. Can't seem to find a right position for it and it's annoying me =/ As for the background i'm not entirely sure as to what I want or what looks good in such a pose. Might keep it as it is now. Maybe a little more detail. The Bio: The creatures inner biology has been altered due to a rare mutation over 700 years by an icy bacteria. Its DNA has been combined with ice crystals and cell tissue which creates a unique muscle system. The creature utilizes this unique biology to keep it self warm from inside much like an igloo. In order to sustain its inner core temperature, it must constantly hunt for meat. The creatures skin also toughens as the temperature drops, becoming extremely hard. This rare evolutionary change, along with its diet, has given this it a bluish tint. This is so extremely cool and different! I really dig the texture on his body, and how you're building up that icy look...I don't know about the pose, it's different, almost looks like he's dancing. Keep posting!
