This is coming out really nice!
Altough I prefered the previous version, where the left hand hold the sphere in his palm, instead of at the tips of the fingers. |

This time around the lack of lines is a GREAT help. you can still use your lines as a guide but i think your final should be presented as a pure painting...without lines. Looks WORLDS better without lines. Your lighting and shading gives it a good sense of 3 dimensional form. The lines tended to make the over all piece look flat. so yea NO LINES
i also agree with MightyMeg the sphere should be on the palm, instead of the tip of the fingers. even tho thats just a personal aesthetic. |

Thank you very much. I still love drawing, and linework will always be my favorate but the painting alone tends to look better.
Trust me, it was a compromise that didn't come easy. I had wanted to place the ball in her hand but nothing was working for the anatomy. It would have take far too long to wrangle through. I've heading out now, but let me leave a little concept piece i was just trying out for fun this morning. ![]() Its not challenge related, but its a piece i decided to do without linework. enjoy, ________ MEXICO CITY HOTEL Last edited by wargrafix; 04-05-2011 at 02:45 PM.. |

Thank you! Its just one of those pieces the just started and went from there.
Today was exhausting so not much artistic power in the brain. I worked a little on the tedious parts. I'm a little concerned the yellow fire sticks along the stairs might have brightened the staircase a bit much. What do you all think? ![]() ________ Blowjob tubes Last edited by wargrafix; 04-05-2011 at 02:48 PM.. |

I think the light sticks are a great addition, adds variety to the lighting of this scene. I also like that wing part you started, it looks promising.

Thanks everyone.
I will soften the muscles. Right now I want to get the environment down. With this watercolor technique, the mountains is proving a tad bit daunting. I will upload a little later if I can get it working. ________ Problems from zoloft Last edited by wargrafix; 04-05-2011 at 02:49 PM.. |
