bahamuts duel
![]() ''In a post apocalyptic world, where there's nothing much remained but abandoned gigantic war machines waiting for someone to control them..'' This is my transformers version of bahamut (from the final fantasy series). It was heavily inspired by megatron (from the transformers movie). It's fully rigged and can transform from a tank (vehicle mode) to a mecha (combat mode). Please see the wip thread for more details: http://forums.3dtotal.com/showthread.php?t=72948 Link to the transformation video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTMgFynIrC0

Hi Razeem, thanks glad you like it
![]() The rigging method is actually simple, i just used biped and some bones (for the wings) as the base, and then i linked a dummy object to each bone, and then i linked one body part (as the "leader") to the dummy object, and finally the rest of the body parts to the "leader". It only takes some patience and some calculation to have the rigging organized, and then from there on you can transform them (move & rotate) and it's all just a matter of timing.. hope this helps ![]()
