Nice style, although a touch over exposed and blown out in places. Love the modelling and the chrome is pretty cool too.

Good job! Agreed on the over-exposure and blown highlights (unless that's the effect you were going for). Some other crits:

1) Bump maps on the building seem a bit high and the brick texture needs to be looked at...the bricks seem too small in relation to the size of the window and robot. It affects the composition.

2) Was the goal of this to show a sad robot or was that just thrown in as the name of the title? The reason I ask is that I don't think it really conveys sadness. It's looking down and shoe gazing but that's about it. Look around for the basics of cartoon facial expressions...you could do a lot with say metallic eyebrows, upper/lower eyelid "shutters", and the mouth to convey sadness. The pose could better show sadness, as well.

3) The thumb on the right (the robot's left) seems like it should be casting a slight shadow.

Nice metallic textures.

Thanks for the comments! Yes, a "bit" over exposed, but I like it.
NitroLiq, I just threw the "sad" word in the title. Thanks for the ideas about the expressions, next time I'll try something like that.
