Its a very cool looking piece. What you could do to give it a more story feel is place some very small persons on the mountain on the left side. In the fog. Like they are climbing the mountain to get away from the terrible wrath that has been done to the temple that is on fire......

Good to know how you interpret the picture.
My idea for the "story" was the following: These temples and buildings had been destroyed a long time ago. But there are still people there in the forgotten jungle valley, living in the mountains and meeting each other on the main temple ruin at a big fire by night. They are coming from the mountains on foot along paths and by boat on the rivers.

Maybe it needs some more black lines with glowing dots (people with torches).

This is far one of the best matte painting have seen. Just loved the rivers and the tiny fires
