12 Years - 3D Short, Subtle Facial Animation
Hi,
last year I did modeling, blendshapes and animation for a short called "12 years" by german director Daniel Nocke. It premiered at this years Berlinale film festival (Berlin, Germany). Click on the image to watch the film: ![]() Our goal for the animation was to reproduce the very subtle human expressions that usually just float across the face for a couple of frames or seconds. It was a lotta fun (and work) to transfer them to the dogs faces . To speed up the process we worked very closely with video references of the voice actors playing their parts. The original version features german language, but only the english version is online. Greetz, Martin __________________ www.herrschmidt.tv |

brilliant, simply brilliant. You really brought the emotion across. I found myself really understanding both of them. As far as you can from a film anyway
