Not this time, hehehe.Fun facts about the simulation: - it has over 360 million particles in each frame; - with over 6 million spawned fresh for each frame; - each frame takes up 680 MB on the harddrive; - each frame's shadow data takes up 2 GB on the harddrive; - takes 17 GB of ram to simulate one frame; Thank God for my new PC. ![]() I had to turn off multiscattering cause it would spend about 2,5 hours per frame just calculating it and the difference is very subtle;

I've been using two Quad Cores with 4 GB Ram for the past 2 years, but I got a new I7 2600K with 16 GB Ram recently. It's amazing to not be limited by hardware anymore.

It's about 100 GB now, but it's growing as new frames are rendered, each with 2 GB of shadow data. The good news is once the shadows are calculated and stored, the render itself takes around 10 seconds. So I'm going through it all now, to cache it all up, then once I've set up the actual camera, the whole sequence will be rendered in 34 minutes.
No camera yet because I'm modeling the main asset for that scene.
