Hi
For hula consider all his story post
For me consider all my story post For you too. Even if they're different stories or ideas, or different version/ends, consider all of it, just choose the one you prefer/you like the most, the things in wich you get the most empathy. You can mix sentences from different story version of one of us, you've to choose the idea that are the best for you, working the best, there is also a taste influence there but it doesn't matter. If there is no logic/timeline between the 5 sentences of one's, it doesn't matter.

My little story...
All important posts consolidated and slightly revised... (posts are in order of appearance) What if we start out with a man with a noose hanging round his neck drawn to a murky cradle or gallows... Then we could continue the events from there in a dark brooding way... Perhaps something about the hunt of witches and heretics... We can discover the inquisitions horrid means as well as the frustration of simple villagers with the powers unknown.... Thought more of a story filled with suffering of innocent men and women... The inquisition are sent out by the catholic church for the eradication of all heretics and witches in all of Christianity.. They inflame the mobs, make enemies of some of the people and inspire fear in all. We would also want to keep some characters with a burning faith (in all parties) as well as ones who follow their own lust for power. People are using the "words of god" to achieve their own goals. What if we have a monk character as the main character?? A monk who firmly believes in the justness of god and goodwill of his hand. A man who has spent most of his life in a cloister with a warm prior watching over him... When he then sees the prior being taken away by the inquisition for shielding an innocent family with small children his whole world is swept away. The cloister trembles and a new prior is instated by the new bishop from Rome (a man of the inquisition). The cloister life becomes unbearable and soon he sets out helplessly finding wrongdoings everywhere made in the name of God... Ps: The hung man might be the prior. Which leads us to the said events and then onward to the rest of the story... Edit: I am getting more and more attached to this story and I think it has ton of potential to be honest. The family's child survived, even though their parents were killed by the inquisition. Furthermore the inquisition force was lead by a man who turned out to be the newly instated bishop... The bishop overrules the cloisters wish for their own selection of a prior and puts his own man on the job. A man who is the strict puppet of the bishop and who still believes in god but since he is so swept up in his own ideals the life in the cloister becomes shaded by his lust for power. Before the new prior, when the inquisition had ravaged the land for a while they began to run out of subjects.. They begin to follow the family who just spent their peaceful life on a farm. Meanwhile the prior is horrified by the damage done to the land. He finds himself with the choice to save the family in this hour of need and leaps for it out of pure good will. He goes to the family's farm when the inquisition sets out for them. When he comes there the sent out men are waiting restlessly with torches in their hands. He quickly makes his way to main house and brings the horrified family to the cloister. We will start out with the monk sitting, watching his prior's hanging corpse. Caught in the thoughts on the upheaval of past events. Then comes the history with the prior and the family. You'll also quickly see something about the now unbearable life in the cloister which is furthered as he sits there. After this he heads out with the young surviving boy/girl of the family, they are brutal but they didn't kill the child, partly thanks to the last prior as well. He finds all these atrocities happening in the name of god. He tries to help as many as possible whilst helplessly trying to shield the child from the all horrid actions as well as from being hurt. I didn't really think of this story as a high fantasy one with a lot of magic. It is more of realistic story filled with possibilities for moral balancing, grimy scenes, dark events as well as a story of actual love and compassion... Imagine him standing over the child desperately clinging to his little wooden crucifix trying to shield him and the child from the ravaging swordsmen... Regarding real purpose of the inquisition... We have multiple real purposes, which we almost all can explain (even though we don't have to, remember). We have the official dictation of Rome, we also have individuals' lust for power and we do have the inflaming of a mob bereft of knowledge, only knowing love for god from before but now faced with threats of hell and torture... When he has tried for months to survive a countryside in upheaval as well as plenty of hunts for heretics with the boy he finally goes back to the fallen prior who died for the sake of the innocent. He then either digs up the body and puts it in holy ground (or whatever you call it= a Christian graveyard) or anoints the ground around him, finally saying a silent prayer and wanders off with the boy in hand...

Oh my god, you guys! My head hurts and my eyes dance around in my head from all the letters!!! Why so much writing and so little drawing? And all that story makes me just see myself trying to pull a rabbit out of my... you know, the part we all use to sit on.
You want to have fun and get a graphic novel in the same time? My suggestion: keep the chit chat to a minimum and commit to one page a day of comics - each. Washka will continue the stories of aby arty and aby arte will take on where washka leaves his page. This way you get to duel, keep yourself amused and challenged and things might be really fun.

If I remember something really old, writing is drawing.
But it's an interesting suggestion. I get fun when I do some quality and structured work with a strong artistical and emotive content, and I like to take my time when I work, personal choice there. The "run for a comic page each day" is not really me, and I'm not experienced/skilled enough for that. Hula, if you pass by, I greenlight, let's post our 15 sentences summaries, time's up. If Aby don't want to do it, it's his choice, I respect people's choice. I hope he'll continue to help us. Good luck for your test guys.
