References of Children

Im currently working on a series of young sculpts - and have found that due to various worries re: images of children on the net, that anatomical and photographic references of children - idealy aged 6 yrs old are very tough to find.

Ive trawled many ref sites, and the age cut off seems to be 18<, does anyone have any good links or suggestions?

Tried searching images for children playing, amongst other things, and to be honest Ive gone about as far as I dare with my googling, I worry that someone somewhere is flagging me and I may recieve an unwanted visit from some auhority .

Im after front and side views of children aged around 6 yrs old.

Maybe you can find some in anatomical drawing books (or maybe find some anatomical drawings on the net) of children.

Maybe, if you have a young nephew/niece/brother/sister, you can ask the parent if you can make some pictures of them?

Not terribly helpfull Nukie, I did start by saying I cant realy find any refs, hence the thread/request.

Ive some refs from books but most are of little use, and I have no children or relatives in this age group, and Im not about to approach strangers to get photographs.

Anyone got any good links to photo refs preferably? Im at the point where im using catalogue images to patchtogether an anatomy, far from ideal.

No I know its not what you was hoping for, but the fact is that it is really hard to find naked pictures of under aged children due to the fact that it is illegal to shoot, own or post such pictures.

It once happened to me that I came across a website with children pictures that I reported because of the sexual content of it. But if you really need such pictures these might be the places to look at. Although I won't recommend it, and I cannot (and will not) give you links to these sites.

So the best thing you could to is to model from pictures. Not ideal, but at least your not doing anything illegal either. And if you know someone with good drawing skills, you might ask them to draw something for you.

Mmm im not after naked pictures just decent refs - as in arms legs, proportions skin detail and muscles, sad days indeed when this is seen as immoral, illegal and wrong.

I dont want those links btw. But decent artistic refs and anatomy refs would be very usefull.

A good drawing is not going to convey the kind of info i require sadly - this is for a detailed zbrush sculpt.

Well guess its back to snatching little details from numerous fuzzy vague sources.
