Here's my entry, which will most likely remain unfinished, with two of my favorite movies: Iron Man and Hellboy. I Haven't done much work, but here's my progress so far. Feel free to criticize the s*!t outta it.

Nice idea! I think you should copy the props. of the original iron man helmet.

Hmm. To be honest, I didn't really put much thought into whether it was exact. I've just been modeling it so you can obviously tell which two characters it's based off. So it looks like Iron Man, but with Hellboy proportions. Thanks for the tutorial, BTW.

I've started work on the body- the proportions are way off and it's very blocky, I'm just roughing it in for now. I'm probably also going to change the helmet a lot.

Lol kinda looks like an Iron Bear at the moment....that's not to diss your work so far though, you're modelling is really strong and I think it's a great idea with lots and lots of potential.

Since you started with the head, i think you should get the general proportions of it right, because if you size it, scale it, or widen it, the rest of the body will look odd, or out of proportion.

I know that you want to do your own thing, but you should follow the proportions of hellboy's head/ironman's head/normal human head.
Because they already look good, and pleasing for the human eye

nice concept of "HELLBOYRONMAN"....but i agree with tarik also, the body looks skinny...
why dont you try to make the body like hell boy with iron man metal...just a suggestion.!
