Thanks. The lack of glowing eyes was just me being lazy and not bothering to make a shader.
I'm going to work on the tail next. |

oh yeah I forgot about the tail. how are you going to texture him? you going to do a clean shinny metal like iron man? or a matt colour like hell boys skin?

wow, thats ace!!!!! how did you get it to follow the spline like that? took me loads of messing about to model the spine on my iron transformer

what I did was I set the object so that its copies centers are on each point of the line. I messed up, though, so I had to move some of them by hand. I don't really know how to explain it any better than that.

I'm probably not going to UV map most of it and just use metal shaders for it. I'm thinking I might UV map the bigger pieces and to put scratches on them, but not on the smaller pieces so I can save time.
Also, the red metal is going to be a duller with a more hellboy-ish look to it, but the gold will look more like iron man metal. |
