Movie Mashup - The Lord of the Rings. The fellowship of the corpse - jlmayen

Hello everyone,

First of all, I want to congratulate the organization for this inspiring challenge.

here I start my thread with an idea in mind: to make a scene with the Lord of the Rings characters in the style of The Corpse Bride by Tim Burton. I don´t know if the final title would be The Lord of the Rings. The Fellowship of the corpse; The Lord of the Rings. The Return of the corpse, or simply The Lord of the Corpses, . I think there´s no problem changing the title later.

I don´t know if I´ll do this in 3d or in 2d, or maybe a mix of both; it depends on the scene.

So, good luck to all of you and enjoy this challenge.

Hello again, I´ve been crazy doing a quick sketch of Aragorn. I´ve worked less time on this than on Frodo, but I think it´s enough to have a first idea of the character. I wait for your comments. Thanks!

This should be interesting... I love Burton!

Aragorn is great. He really fits into the Corpse Bride look. Gaunt features, bulbous eyes, limp hair ect...

Frodo on the other hand just seems as though he's seen a lot less sunlight then is good for him If you wanted to make him plumper, don't forget to add loose hanging flesh lol. Also could just be that his clothing is really bright. Must re-watch the movie, but memory says that it was a lot more muted and mono. Another thought is that maybe you could try making some of the fabric (cape?) more threadbare and less new looking.

I'll be watching to see how you go with this

Hello again! Thank you all for all your very good support and comments! I´ve been too busy but I´m back, I hope to have time to finish this, hehe. Here I bring to you the concept of Gandalf, and later I´ll make Legolas and Gollum, hehe. I hope you like this.
